Bath Community Hospital is Hiring a Nurse Manager (Med/Surg) Near Hot Springs, VA

Bath Community Hospital is a patient-focused small hospital in rural Virginia that offers excellent working conditions, a team environment, and opportunities for professional development. Primary responsibilities include providing administrative oversight and direction for the Medical Unit at Bath Community Hospital. The Nurse Manager will provide accountability for planning, directing, leading and evaluating nursing care within this department.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee the daily workflow, staffing, orientation, training and developing of employees within the department
  • Organize services and systems necessary for the multidisciplinary approach throughout the continuum of care
  • Monitor patient volumes, quality of care, and performance of staff to identify areas for improvement
  • Listen to patient, physician and staff complaints and concerns and work to resolve them
REQUIREMENTS
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia (required)
  • Certified in BLS, ACLS, and PALS (required, but can be obtained upon hire)
  • 5 years of Nurse Management experience (preferred)
